FAQs

  • I travel solo, so not part of a group. Can I still sign up for a Retreat?
    Definitely you can come join us. We love to welcome anyone that would like to be spoilt for a day or two. Unless specifically asked for, all the sessions are all about you.
  • What if I have special dietary requirements?
    Please let us know when booking and we will do all we can to accommodate your needs, within reason. Our food is primarily seasonal and made from scratch.
  • What sort of Retreat is Takahuri Retreats
    We are a middle of the road retreat experience. Offering a range of Wellness, Nature, Mindfulness and Creative opportunities. Come a one day retreat or book for a 2 day experience. we can custom design an experience with you.
  • What level of fitness do I need?
    You don't have to be super fit all. There is a little walking and we encourage everyone to give the gentle stretching exercises a go. If you like to be active then there are plenty of options for you.
  • How do I get to the venue if I don't have a car or aren't confident driving on rural roads.
    We can pick you up from town, just let us know where you are staying.
  • What do I need to bring?
    Depending on the time of the year we suggest you bring comfortable clothing and walking shoes. Layers are good in the winter and a sun hat in the summer. We will send you a what to bring message as part of the booking process.
  • What if I've not done yoga before?
    No Worries, our experienced facilitators will adjust the session to suits the participants and instruct to the level of each individual
  • Can I book one on one sessions?
    Absolutely all our facilitators can provide one hour sessions. Life coaching, Massage, Gentle stretching. Just let us know before you arrive and we'll make time.
  • What if it I s raining
    There are plenty of covered and warm spaces we can use for the retreat. Bring wet weather gear and enjoy a walk in the rain.
  • How do I add a new question & answer?
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.
  • Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
  • How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?
    You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
